My client, a bespoke manufacturing business near Falmouth, is looking to for somebody to join their team - and immediate start for the right candidate.

If you have previous experience working in a finance department we would love to hear from you!

Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm and the contract is due to run for 6 months, depending on business needs.

Key duties:

  • Preparing daily banking, posting cash receipts and payments on the system.

  • Reconciliation of supplier statements,  processing invoices and payments.

  • Credit control- chasing monies owed and allocating payments received. 

  • Managing customer accounts and information requests.

  • Banking,  handing petty and foreign cash.

  • Provide ad hoc support to other team members when required.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Ideally AAT or ACA Qualified, CIMA or ACCA part qualified or qualified by experience or experience in a similar role.

  • Good working knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping practices.

  • Great communication skills and high attention to detail

  • Competent IT skills, particularly the use of Microsoft Excel
