Well established and highly professional business in St Austell is looking to recruit an experienced administrator to join their team.
This placement will be starting in the next couple of weeks and will be supporting multiple departments with administrative duties.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 09.00-17.00- with an hours lunchbreak.
This role is a long term temping position for 30 weeks and is paying £11.60 Per an hour
They could offer hybrid working once training has been completed, but you will need to work a few days a week from their St Austell office.
Role
Dealing with incoming and outgoing post, including scanning, distributing and responding where appropriate
Dealing with external calls and emails, or forwarding to the relevant department where necessary
Communicating with colleagues for the purpose of ordering office supplies – ensuring stock levels are maintained and sourcing cost effective products, cross referencing delivery notes for orders received and receipting against overhead costs
Printing documentation and site plans as instructed by the team
Collating set up/handover documents; ensuring all necessary certificates and records are included
Raising purchase orders
Reviewing utility charges against specific plots and ensuring smooth handover of documents
General typing, filing and administration assistance to colleagues
Using the Microsoft office suite including excel, formulas and data analysis toolpack to produce documents
Scheduling of meetings and appointments within the company and the arrangement of refreshments and other corporate catering
To provide administrative support in meetings in the form of minute taking or updating action logs, this may include travelling to sites.
Contribute to the annual calendar and schedule of any subscriptions, memberships, contracts, regulatory, governance and compliance reviews and deadlines are maintained and met.
To support and contribute to the ongoing development of processes and systems in the form of SOPs, manuals, leaflets and online systems and software.
Make clear decisions and communicate effectively and openly with customers and contractors ensuring ongoing engagement as much as possible
Coordinating tasks and assessing priorities to manage conflicting needs across the business
Where required, collate and present information for both internal and external use
Regularly monitor, review and when required update admin documentation and procedures
Skills
Minimum of a couple of years within an admin role
Great customer service skills
Be a competent user of Microsoft office, including outlook, powerpoint, Excel and word
Experience in minute taking or recording or meetings
Excellent time management and ability to work to deadlines
Good written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for details and accuracy.
