​ An exciting opportunity for an established administrator to join our a busy firm within the property industry has become available in central Truro

This role would suit a candidate that has worked in either the construction or property industry previously although this it not essential.

Main Duties:

•Answering telephone calls and dealing with verbal enquiries in a polite and professional manner including providing clients with quotations.

•Responding to written correspondence including client enquiries.

•Opening and dealing with incoming and outgoing post.

•Scheduling diaries including arranging access for appointments, producing corresponding paperwork for client's instructions and job files.

•Typing of a variety of different reports mainly via audio typing with occasional copy typing.

•Accurate production of documentation and correspondence including letters, emails and confirmation documents relating to client instructions etc.

•Entering account transactions on Xero including the creation of client invoices.

•Taking card payments.

•Greeting visitors as required in a friendly and professional manner.

•Ad-hoc duties may also be required such as stationary ordering etc.

•Filing, photocopying and other general administration duties.

Skills and experience required:

•Excellent typing accuracy and speeds including experience in audio typing.

•Experience dealing with members of the public and various third parties

•The ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

•The ability to work well as part of a team and individually.

•Experience in using Microsoft software (Word, Excel etc.)

•Excellent general IT skills including the ability to use and update online filing systems, various email platforms and databases and format documentation.

•Excellent attention to detail and the ability to use your initiative.

•A good knowledge and understanding of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

•The ability to present yourself in a friendly, professional and presentable manner at all times.

Desirable skills/experience although not mandatory:

•Experience in a property, construction or surveying environment.

•Accounting experience would be an advantage, particularly in the use of Xero.

•Marketing experience including the use of social media platforms for businesses and SEO.

This role is being offered on a full time permanent basis, Monday to Friday. This is an office based role, no hybrid working is available. Parking is available on site.
