Seeking an experienced General Builder for a reputable visitor attraction in Newquay.
Offering a competitive salary, great working hours and free lunches on site!

Applicants will need to have previous building, maintenance and groundworks experience, in order to expand in-house projects and work well alongside the existing team.

Working hours will be around 40 per week, typically Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm, however, some weekend hours may be required in the summer.

What the job involves:

  • Support the current team with all aspects of on-going development and refurbishment program from groundworks to completion.

  • General construction and building, roofing and carpentry.

  • Basic plumbing, plastering and painting/decorating.

  • Using plant telehandlers, excavators and dumpers (licence permitting).

About you:

  • Previous building and constriction experience essential.

  • Basic plastering, painting and decorating skills.

  • PASMA, IPAF and NPORS/CPCS certificates would be an advantage.

  • Telehandler, excavator and dumper tickets an advantage.
