Applicants will need to have plenty of enthusiasm, previous experience within a sales/business development role and the ability to communicate with a varied range of stakeholders across all levels. Additionally, the successful candidate will need to be passionate about renewable energy, well organised and hardworking. This role is a hybrid/home working position; however, applicants will need to leave within a commutable distance of Truro, Cornwall.
Identifying potential clients (developers, housing landlords/commercial building owners)
Present and promote product advantages, to identify suitable products for new clients
Identify key influencers (engineers, consultants, architects etc.), make contact and offer CPD presentations to promote solutions
Ensure follow-up actions are taken and information is recording on the system
Respond to questions and requests for further information as they arise
Represent the business at trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions as and when required
Generate leads for projects and work alongside sales managers and other colleagues to develop project proposals
Compile weekly reports for the Area Sales Manager
Formulate and agree KPI’s with line managers, ensuring targets are met
Undertake training and assist with training others as required
Contribute to appraisal processes
Educated to degree level (preferred)
Excellent communication skills
Strong IT skills
Adaptable and driven
Previous experience within renewable energy and sales beneficial
Salary £25,500 – £28,000
