Are you an experienced Buyer, seeking a new challenge? My client, a forward-thinking, innovative manufacturing business in Falmouth, is seeking a new team member to join their supply chain department.

Key responsibilities will include:
Initiate purchase orders and amendments for third party procured products, ensuring timely execution of product and service sourcing activities.
Identify alternative supply sources as required.
Assist in the development of supplier relationships, agreements, price negotiations and delivery terms.
Communicate with distribution centres and sales colleagues to update on deliveries and respond to requests.
Maintain information for daily reports.
Escalate issues identified within the supply chain to the Supply Chain Manager.
Additional duties and assignments as directed by management.
Essential skills and attributes:
Experience in supply management, ideally within a planning and procurement department
Strong administrative, written and verbal communication skills
IT literate to include Microsoft Office packages
Proactive team player
Lean and Navision ERP system experience desirable but not essential
