​​Are you an experience Caretaker, looking for a new part-time position?

We have a brand-new opportunity, offering great working hours and the chance to manage your own time and priorities.

This is a part time, permanent role, working alone for 25 hours a week on a rotational basis.

The Caretaker will be responsible for a variety of duties within a school establishment, ensuring the grounds and facilities are well maintained at all times.

Key duties will include:

  • Undertake general maintenance of the buildings and facilities

  • Assist with maintaining and monitoring the site and security of the school during meetings and visits

  • Gardening and groundwork, alongside the groundsman

  • Reporting major defects to the Premises Manager, or by liaising with approved contractors

Essential experience and qualifications:

  • Previous experience within a similar caretaker/maintenance role

  • Understanding of site maintenance and associated health and safety

  • Willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check (previously CRB)
