My client, a well-established and ever-growing manufacturing unit, is looking for a Machine Operative to start immediately.
Previous factory work experience would be desirable, but not essential as training will be provided. The role involves lots of repetitive and heavy lifting, so applicants must be comfortable with this.
The ideal candidate will work well to meet production deadlines and be flexible to work both morning and afternoon shifts to suit business needs.
Full on the job training and support provided. Great for someone looking to get into an ongoing, progressive role.
Key duties:
Machine minding and handling
Keeping workstations clean and tidy
Setting up machines, loading reels of paper ready for coating
Measuring chemicals and mixing ready for job runs
Coating and cutting products, packing into boxes
Working hours
Candidates must be happy to work on a shift basis, days to start covering the evenings when required
Monday – Friday
Days – 0700-1530
Evenings – 1530-2300
