My client, a large freight company in Callington, is seeking an experienced Credit Controller/Accounts Administrator to join their busy, expanding department. Offering a competitive salary, dependent on experience, and an excellent benefits package for the successful applicant.
The Credit Controller will be responsible for maintaining the sales ledger, primarily liaising with clients to resolve queries and ensure payments are received within agreed terms. Applicants will need to be confident communicators who are comfortable with chasing invoices via telephone, email and letter, whilst liaising with management to keep them informed. Additionally, the role will involve allocating payments received and ensuring the correct credit insurance cover is obtained. Other responsibilities will include updating and maintaining spreadsheets and databases as well as ad hoc administrative tasks as requested by management.

Accounts/credit control back background
Fully competent with MS applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail and accurate data entry
Proficient at wording emails and ensuring client requests are fulfilled in a professional manner
Good team player
Quick learning, with the ability to adapt to bespoke packages
Full UK driving licence and own transport
Starting salary of circa £26,000, negotiable depending on experience
5 weeks of holiday + 8 days bank holidays
