Are you ready to dive into a challenging yet rewarding opportunity? My client is currently seeking Scallop Shuckers to join their dynamic team. No prior experience is required; we value speed, determination, and a willingness to work in a demanding environment.
As a Scallop Shucker, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently and skillfully cut and shuck scallops in a fast-paced and challenging environment. The work involves precision and speed, and while experience is not necessary, we are looking for individuals who can adapt quickly to the demands of the job.
Efficiently cut and shuck scallops in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of shucking, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £10.42 per hour (starting) - Piece rate for permanent position (up to £14/£15/£16 based on performance)
Work Hours: Monday to Saturday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
Location: St Austell
No prior experience required, but the ability to work at a fast pace is essential.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in a cold environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Team player with good communication skills.
Willingness to adapt and learn quickly.
