My client, a food production unit based in St Austell is looking to recruit a number of Production, Packing and Hygiene Operatives to start mid September for full time hours all the way up until Christmas!

You will be joining a growing business within a great team environment, offering strong career progression for the right people.

As an Operative, you will play an important role within the factory, ensuring process and production operations meet high quality standards and deadlines are hit consistently.

You will need reliable transport due to the rural location of the site.

Working hours are:

  • Earlies – 0600-1400

  • Lates – 1400-2200

Shift Patterns:

  • ​Monday - Friday rotational pattern

  • 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts

Starting rate of £11.13 per hour.

Overtime is also available as we come into the busy season!

What does your day to day look like?

  • Helping to produce and label various products

  • Weighing, packing and preparing raw materials.

  • Performing inspection tests to ensure all products fit the quality brief.

  • Ensuring the unit is clean and tidy at all times.

Candidate must be comfortable working around raw food (meat and fish).

To be successful, you just need to be reliable and a great team player. I would love to hear from people with all backgrounds, however, previous factory/production experience would be beneficial.
