​My client, a well-established, busy fallen stock site in Camelford, is seeking a full time Fallen Stock Driver/Slaughterman to join their team.

Offering a competitive salary and a full time, permanent position working 48 hours a week.

Key duties:

• Driving a company vehicle to complete tasks, ensuring the vehicle is clean and well maintained

• Safe loading and unloading the vehicle

• Collecting fallen stock from customer premises and bringing it back to site

• Dispatching farm animals at customer premises using a captive bolt (WATOK training and assessment for licence provided)

• Using firearms (if the correct licence and certificates are held) to dispatch of farm animals

• Offer flexibility to meet business requirements which may include some Saturday work

• Act as an ambassador for the business, upholding a high level of customer service at all times

About you:

• A full, clean UK driving licence will be required (LGV C1/7.5 tonne essential)

• WATOK licence advantageous, but the company will provide training so not essential

• Relevant firearm certificates preferred, but not essential

• Previous experience in an agricultural of fallen stock background

• Knowledge of vehicle operations and driving rules and regulations

• Drive CPC completed
