An excellent new opportunity for a Finance Assistant has just become available in Penryn!

If you have 1 years' + experience of working in an accounts environment, looking to develop your skills, we would love to hear from you.

This is a new role within an expanding manufacturing business, offering great training and a fully paid AAT qualification.

Key duties:

  • Sales ledger: setting up customers, running daily invoices, generating credit notes & sending statements

  • Purchase ledger: Vetting and setting up suppliers, confirming goods received, matching invoices to PO numbers, creating and uploading invoices and gathering supplier statements

  • Assisting the procurement and finance team with wider duties

  • Chasing late payments via email and phone calls

About you:

  • 1 years' experience of working in an accounts environment or assisting with accounts processes

  • Willing to learn and work towards an AAT qualification (fully paid)

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Good administrative skills and attention to detail
