​We are currently seeking a dedicated Fryer to join a team in a bustling fish and chip shop!

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a beloved local establishment known for its high-quality and excellent service.

The ideal candidate will be willing to learn a anew skill and offer high end customer service.

Working Hours:

  • 5 days per week on a rota basis

  • 2 consecutive days off

  • Split shifts:

  • Morning Shift: 09:00 - 14:15

  • Evening Shift: 16:00 - 23:00

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating fryers and other kitchen equipment to prepare fish, chips, and other menu items.

  • Ensuring the quality and consistency of food products.

  • Following food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

  • Assisting with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed.

  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.

  • Providing excellent customer service, including taking orders and serving customers.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience working in a fish and chip shop or similar fast-paced kitchen environment preferred.

  • Knowledge of fryer operations and food handling practices.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
