Well established and expanding business in central truro is looking to recruit a Head of HR & Recruitment to their team.

Busy call centre environment that offers a bespoke service to clients who range from SME’s and major UK Corporate brand names. Due to the expansion of the business, they are looking for someone to help recruit and retain new team members.

The Role and Responsibilities:

As Head of HR and Recruitment, you will lead the development and implementation of the company’s personnel strategy. Duties will include developing action plans, CPD reviews and ensuring staff adhere to current legislation. Working alongside current department managers, the candidate will be expected to ensure correct resource levels and provide regular formal updates to the senior management team.

Personal Qualities:

  • Demonstrable competencies and skills or experience in a senior HR role.

  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the business.

  • Be organised and have experience with helping people/problem solve.

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with external partners.

  • Sound knowledge of UK employment legislation and an interest in continuing to remain abreast of changes and trends.

  • Discretion and ability to build trust with others.

  • Prior experience working with Recruitment based projects will be an advantage.

  • Awareness of GDPR and confidentiality.

Basic salary between £26-£31.2K P/A based upon experience with additional bonuses equivalent to £9K P/A.
