​My client, a bespoke manufacturing business near Falmouth, is recruiting a Administrator for an immediate temporary contract.

If you have previous experience within a logistics or shipping role, with excellent communication and admin support skills, we would love to hear from you!

Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm and the contract is due to run for 3 to 6 months, depending on business needs. Paying £19,000 - £21,000k per annum, depending on the level of experience.

As an integral part of the team, the successful candidate will support the logistics department to ensure customer orders are processed and shipped accurately and in a timely manner.

Key duties:

  • Process orders and prepare customer invoices and shipping documentation.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with transporters and agencies.

  • Liaise with production and warehouse departments to coordinate shipments and ensure high standards are upheld.

  • Provide ad hoc support to other team members when required.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Previous experience within a logistics or shipping role.

  • Great communication skills and high attention to detail

  • Competent IT skills, particularly the use of Microsoft Excel
