We have a fantastic opportunity available for a Logistics Assistant/Van Driver to join a busy Distribution Centre based in Roche.

You'll play a key role in ensuring that stock is managed accurately and efficiently and delivered on time to restaurants, bars, retail sites and production units. You will also offer support to the various offices based across North Cornwall.

Operational hours run from 8am to 4.30pm and this role would be working Sunday to Thursday inclusive.

Paying £10.05 per hour, starting off as weekly pay via the agency.

The role will include:

  • Supporting with the recording, storage and dispatch of warehouse goods

  • Providing timely distribution of food, beverage, laundry, gifts and the collection of waste and recycling

  • Ensuring that stock is accurately checked before dispatch and ensuring returns are accurately managed

  • Providing clear and regular communication between customers and departments

  • Maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and the rest of the team

What you need:

  • A UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years

  • Previous experience within a logistics or distribution based role

  • Good customer service awareness

  • A positive and enthusiastic approach
