​​Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer, seeking a new challenge within a reputable business?
This is an excellent opportunity within a medium-sized engineering company, specialising in precision machining of specialist products and materials.

Standard hours will be 39 a week, Monday to Friday across various shift patterns:

Day shift: Mon - Thurs 7.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm

Morning shift: Mon - Thurs 6.00am - 2.00pm, Friday 6.00am - 1.00pm

Late shift: Mon - Thurs 2.00pm - 10.00pm, Friday 1.00pm - 8.00pm

The Mechanical Engineer is an integral role within the business so applicants must be self-motivated and able to work to customer-specific deadlines.

Main duties:

  • Interpreting engineering drawings and apply to machined components

  • Maintaining high-quality products provided to a wide client base

  • Working both small and large batch sizes on high value components

About you:

  • Time served apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ/Diploma/BTEC within engineering

  • Experience setting and Operating XYZ Prototrak lathes and mills beneficial

  • High level of autonomy and drive to achieve
