An exciting opportunity to work for a high-end energy saving company that is looking for a professional and personable individual in the role of Office Administrator/Bookkeeper.
This role will see the chosen candidate overseeing the administration & bookkeeping side of the business. The office administrator will also work closely with the Managing Director on day-to-day sales administration and company projects.
Day to day admin tasks – such as, processing and filing of paperwork (letters, delivery notes etc)
Filing of sales paperwork – sales orders, invoices, delivery notes, customer purchase orders
Bookkeeping – filing and processing of purchase & sales invoices etc
Stationary and sundry stock management
Greeting and supporting customers on visits
Answering and processing inward telephone calls into the business
Creditor management – ensuring creditor reports are kept up to date
Debtor management – ensuring debtor reports are kept up to date
Assist in cash and sales reports
Qualification and skill requirements:
Qualification in bookkeeping – preferably level 2 AAT Equivalent or above – relevant experience will also be considered
Proficient in the use of Sage 50 accounts software package
Customer facing experience
Proficient in the use of computer systems – including Microsoft office 365 and google gsuite
A level, GCSE or NVQ level of qualification
Knowledge of import/export desirable but not essential
Experience of having worked in a engineering/electrical or mechanical business previously desirable but not essential.
The candidate must be open minded and dynamic, they may be asked to get involved in the assembly of products from time to time so engineering background would be a positive.
