Well established and reputable manufacturing business in the Falmouth area is looking for an experienced PR & Content Executive to join their growing team.
Role Purpose:
This role is an exciting opportunity to join a growing PR and content team and play an important part in coordinating communications within a global organisation. Its purpose is to support the PR and content function by developing its area of the company’s Sharepoint site with best practice materials for global teams to access; using press coverage monitoring software to track and create reports; managing projects with a third-party translation provider and liaising with the web team on the timely upload of news and case studies to the company website. In addition, the successful candidate will create dynamic and impactful content – from writing cases studies to scripts for video and social media posts – for a broad range of internal and external audiences across the business, ensuring tone of voice, style and messaging is consistent. You will also provide proof reading and editing support to the wider organization and for selected product launches and global marketing campaigns, ensuring content is fit for purpose and optimised to maximise reach.
Main duties including but not limited to:
Build and maintain PR & Content Hub on Sharepoint and develop Yammer community
Use software tools to track coverage and generate reports
Manage projects with third-party translation agency provider
Self-sufficient management of copywriting tasks for product launches and other marketing campaigns
Produce content that shows or reflects the business’ brand and values
Ensure that style, tone of voice and messaging are consistent throughout media
Create high-quality, error-free content, high-quality in adherence with the business’ style guide
Interpret creative direction to adapt the points from a creative brief into persuasive copy
Propose concepts for copy to support our underlying department objectives
Continue to enhance the global content marketing approach
Collaborate with other stakeholders within marketing and across the business on campaigns
Manage multiple projects, typically with short deadlines
Administrative and finance tasks

Proven experience in creating engaging articles for a variety of audiences
Working within teams on creative content
B2B copywriting experience

Experience of working with media and journalists to generate positive publicity

Understanding of the importance of cultural nuance in global marketing context

Qualifications:
Ideally educated to Degree level in English or similar, or have demonstrated relevant marketing and industry experience ideally from a B2B background
This role is being offered on a full-time permanent basis of Monday to Friday.
