Are you an experienced Production Planner/Coordinator, seeking a new challenge? My client, a forward-thinking, innovative manufacturing business in Falmouth, is seeking a new team member to join their production department.

Key responsibilities will include:
Monitor production requirements generated from MRP to ensure all work orders are issued, complete and to production within the given timescale.
Manage production shortfalls alongside the Supply Chain Manager to ensure all components are in stock when required.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for history and audit purposes, including PO and incoming inspection records.
Maintain sales/production requirement records to enable data tracking.
Communicate with distribution centres and sales colleagues to update on deliveries and respond to any requests for information as directed.
Chair weekly production meetings to communicate production plans to department heads.
Maintain information for daily reports with the most up to date and realistic dates, based on developing requirements and production output.
Assist with regular internal stock taking, including re-counts and adjustments.
Escalate any issues identified within the supply chain to the Supply Chain Manager.
Additional duties and assignments as directed by management.
Essential skills and attributes:
Experience in supply management, ideally within a planning and procurement department
Strong administrative, written and verbal communication skills
IT literate to include Microsoft Office packages
Proactive team player
Lean and Navision ERP system experience desirable but not essential
