My client, an electrical manufacturing business in St.Austell, is seeking an experienced candidate to monitor and advise the business on performance and quality. Offering a full time, permanent position paying £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience. Working hours will be 37 a week, Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 5.30pm.
Key duties:
Review, devise and establish quality procedures, standards and specifications
Maintain material compliance with RoHS and REACH
Preparing and monitoring performance reports for relevant stakeholders
Maintain company quality standards and prepare audits with BSI and CSA
Set and define quality and H&S standards within the business
Assist with the resolution of production process issues, ensuring they meet international and national standards
Liaise with other managers and staff to provide training, tools and techniques to enable improvement of quality standards
Train and manage quality control technicians
Applicants must have previous experience within a similar role, as well as knowledge of auditing procedures, performance measurement and team delegation/management.
