My client, an electrical manufacturing business in St.Austell, is seeking an experienced candidate to monitor and advise the business on performance and quality. Offering a full time, permanent position paying £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience. Working hours will be 37 a week, Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 5.30pm.

Key duties:

• Review, devise and establish quality procedures, standards and specifications

• Maintain material compliance with RoHS and REACH

• Preparing and monitoring performance reports for relevant stakeholders

• Maintain company quality standards and prepare audits with BSI and CSA

• Set and define quality and H&S standards within the business

• Assist with the resolution of production process issues, ensuring they meet international and national standards

• Liaise with other managers and staff to provide training, tools and techniques to enable improvement of quality standards

• Train and manage quality control technicians

Applicants must have previous experience within a similar role, as well as knowledge of auditing procedures, performance measurement and team delegation/management.
