My client, a manufacturing business on the outskirts of Truro, is seeking a number of driven team players to join their expanding business. Offering full-time hours, Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:30, with a 16:30 early finish on a Friday and an exciting opportunity to learn and develop skills on the job.

What jobs are available:

• Timber Machinist/Carpenter

• Fitter Assistant

• Pallet Maker

• Sawmiller/Machinist

​About you/skills needed:

• Own transport essential due to location

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, friendly team working towards the same output goal

• Good level of physical fitness and dexterity

• High level of accuracy with mechanical handling knowledge

• A good level of numeracy skills and the ability to use a tape measure

• Previous experience within a hands-on trade essential

Applicants who have basic carpentry skills and a solid mechanical understanding would be preferred, however, full training and on-the-job support is provided.

This role is primarily working outside in a covered area on site, however, some off-site visits/jobs are expected.
