Well established accountancy practice in central Truro is seeking a senior accounts assistant to join their small but friendly team.
The ideal candidate should have recent practice experience and be a flexible/willing all-rounder to become an integral part of our Accounts Team.
The role will include:
Assisting with bookkeeping, VAT Returns, management accounts
Accounts preparation work for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparing Tax Returns
Dealing with clients
Mentoring junior members of staff
Essential requirements are:
AAT qualified
Good working knowledge of software such as Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
Confident communication skills
Attention to detail
Must have a professional approach and be happy to work as part of a small team
Desirable requirements are:
2-3 years post qualification experience preferred
Hours:Full time or part-time - permanent.
