Are you a site manager / supervisor looking for you next role in Cornwall? My client, one of the top engineering companies in Cornwall, are seeking a skilled Site Manager to ensure the achievement of production and installation work as planned by their programming team, and in line with the schedule as directed by the Head of Deployment & Operations. You will work and role model best practice in running and operating production, manufacturing and installation activities, developing more junior members of the team and working to safe and defined processes. You will also act as foreperson when out on site or deployed on operations, ensureing adherence to safety standards, RAMS, CDM and all company processes.
This is a full time permanent role based in Cornwall paying £40,000 to £44,000 doe. A full job description is available on request.
Key Duties
Operational responsibilities including supervising and ensuring the effective delivery of all operations and deployments, both in workshops and between sites in accordance with approved procedures and safe systems of work.
Follows procedures to ensure compliance with company ISO standards, updating as relevant.
Responsibility and accountability for actions are documented within company own logging system
Create and maintain focus, enthusiasm and momentum of all projects within the progamme.
Report the progress of the work programme to the Head of Deployment & Operations as required.
Responsible for company and own H&S, complying with legal requirements & adhering to company guidelines at all times.
Key Skills
Proven experience in large scale & multiple Construction Site management.
Effective management, interpersonal and communication skills.
Minimum Gold CSCS card (level 3/4 NVQ Construction Management).
CITB Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) Certificate.
Computer Literate (MS office).
H&S, NEBOSH or IOSHH Qualification.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001, 14001

Effective communication skills, across all methods of communication.
