​​Are you an experienced Technologist, seeking a new challenge within a reputable business?

As leading manufacturer and supplier of quality products, my client offers a competitive salary, great working hours and the chance to join a busy team during an exciting expansion period.

Working Monday to Thursday, 8.30am - 5pm, with an early 2.30pm finish on a Friday afternoon.

The successful applicant will join the innovation and development team, working alongside Product Engineers and Technical Specialists to develop a range of materials that meet customer specifications.

Additionally, the Technologist will work to maintain existing material formulations and support the manufacturing team through improvements.

Key duties:

  • Manage the development and introduction of new materials

  • Develop and implement any training documentation

  • Design and formulate materials to maximise properties and comply with Health and Safety Legislation

  • Provide technical support as required by production, sales, marketing and other sites (some travelling required)

  • Actively support process improvements and the implementation of change

About you:

  • Degree in materials science, chemistry or a related discipline

  • Competent with Microsoft packages to include Word, Excel, Outlook and Project

  • Business improvement skills and techniques

  • Knowledge of materials and material development

  • Confident project leader

  • Ability to structure workload, self-manage and prioritise workload
