​Are you an experienced Web Editor, looking for an exciting new career?

My client, a bespoke and expanding engineering business, is looking to build their team. This is a full-time job opportunity, paying £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience. The successful candidate will join an innovative and futuristic environment with freedom to express and test new ideas. As the Web Editor, you will be responsible for translating business vision into impactful and effective web-based content to engage, inform and inspire stakeholders.

This is an exciting time to join the brand and provides an incredible opportunity for the right person to showcase their creative flair, excellent communication, and organisational skills. This role will be based in Truro, Cornwall or Exeter as well as offering the potential for home-working.

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Creation, management, and ownership of all website content

  • Writing, editing and proofreading content

  • Work closely with marketing and communications teams to optimise performance

  • Liaising with representatives across the wider business to research and gather information

  • Performing audits and monitoring content

  • Working with the Marketing Technology Manager to support SEO and web content strategies

  • Continual development of digital presence

Essential experience & qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar/marketing-based role

  • Website management experience

  • Up-to-date knowledge of SEO best practice & CMS experience

  • Qualifications within marketing, communications, web design, marketing or similar would be beneficial

  • Excellent copy writing skills on digital platforms

  • Adept in content management systems with good understanding of digital assets
