Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant, either part or fully qualified and immediately available to start? If so, this could be the perfect fit for you!

My client, a niche manufacturing business near Falmouth, is looking for somebody to support their finance function for an initial 6-month fixed term contract. This is an integral role within the business, with a broad scope of responsibilities including various accounts receivable and payable duties.

Ideally, the successful person will be part or fully AAT or CIMA qualified or qualified by experience with the ability to hit the ground running from day 1. Additionally, strong multi-tasking and communication skills will be essentials alongside experience within a high-volume Accounts/Finance support role. Good working knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping practices and principles would also be beneficial.

Offering full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £25,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

Here is a peek into what the role involves:

  • Preparing daily banking, posting system payments and assisting the accounts payable function.

  • Reconciliation of supplier statements, processing invoices and staff expense claims.

  • Credit control and managing customer accounts/information requests.

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments.

  • Ad-hoc accountancy and finance support duties.

If you think this could be a good role for you or would just like to find out a little more, hit apply and let's talk!

If this particular role isn't quite right, we have lots more, so don't hesitate to get in touch anyway.
