The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, and an interest in Mechanical Engineering alongside the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a small design team within a niche manufacturing company, showcasing creative design skills and improving drawings for new projects.
Applicants must live within commutable distance of Hayle, Cornwall.
What are they looking for?
Proficient in the use of Solidworks 3D CAD software and MS Office Applications.
Motivated to expand and further develop engineering knowledge.
Qualifications in CAD, Design or Engineering beneficial.
Experience within a similar role beneficial.
What will the role involve?
Update and improve existing 3D designs and 2D drawings in Solidworks.
Work on new projects, including the production of concept/approval drawings for customers.
Work with an integrated PDM system through Solidworks, maintaining revision control on components, assemblies, and drawings.
Liaise with suppliers regarding component suitability and procurement.
Production of steel and stainless steel 'laser cut' drawing files, and compiling lists of these files for quotation, and stock updates.
Create and modify instruction manuals for finished machines
What are the benefits?
Salary of £28,000 - £34,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
