Are you a IT service desk engineer looking for your next role that is both officed based and home working dealing with customers? My client, one of the market leaders in the field for IT support, cybersecurity and cloud phone systems, are recruiting a IT Service Desk Engineer. Working as part of the service team you will be exposed to a broad and interesting range of technical tickets and be in regular communication with customers throughout Cornwall and Devon. The companies service desk experiences continuous positive feedback from their customers, and has built up a good working relationship with them.
You will be working efficiently to resolve issues that are often preventing customers from carrying out their daily tasks. The ability to put customers at ease and assist them patiently and effectively is what sets their service desk apart. This role will suit someone who has basic IT skills, picks up new technologies easily, has plenty of patience, a keen eye for detail and excellent communications skills.
This is a full time permanent role working Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch paying £20,000 - £26,000 doe.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and recording tech support tasks in the companies ticketing system.
Communicate to the customer the status of their ticket every step of the journey to completion.
Providing tech support and assistance via remote tools (RMM/PSA).
Tech Support of Windows Desktop, Microsoft 365, Backup Systems, Endpoint Security, Business Applications and Network infrastructure.
Administration of Windows Server and Microsoft 365.
