Due to ongoing growth of their business my client, the largest agricultural machinery supplier in the South West, are currently looking to recruit a Parts Operative to work out of their Redruth depot. You will play an important role in helping in the efficient running of a busy Agricultural Parts Department. Ideally from an agricultural or engineering background, this is a customer facing role and requires excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly disposition.

Key to this role is effective communication, as you will liaise with both fellow employees and customers providing day to day support within the warehouse, receiving incoming goods, administration of purchased goods, and answering incoming calls. Training will be provided both internally and externally.

This is a full time permanent role paying from £12 to £15 per hour doe Monday to Friday.

Key Tasks Include

  • Promote and sell parts and/or services to meet customer needs.

  • Order in parts in line with operational needs and chase suppliers.

  • Assist with preparing and maintaining merchandise display.

  • Verify receipt of incoming shipments against delivery notes.

  • Assist in keeping parts inventory clean, orderly, and well organised.
