Are you looking for a new Accounts role, and the opportunity to drive your career within a business who value employees and their development?

I am advertising on behalf of a bespoke and friendly business in North Cornwall, who provide an excellent service to their clients and look to hire several talented and skilled Accountants to join their expanding team. With competitive salaries reflecting your qualifications and/or experience, and excellent benefits to include subsidised travel and healthcare, this is not an opportunity to be missed.

Whether you're fully qualified, qualified by experience or a newly qualified Accountant, I would love to hear from you!

All active vacancies are full-time, Monday to Friday, offered on a permanent basis with the option of hybrid working 2 days per week.

A brief look into what you'll be responsible for (duties will vary based on experience):

  • Preparation of annual accounts, corporate tax returns and business tax computations by the required deadline.

  • Preparation of partnership and personal tax returns by the required deadline.

  • Preparation of management accounts and cash flow forecasts as required.

  • Liaise with clients to assist, or train on accounting software such as Sage, Xero and Quickbooks.

  • Maintain accreditations for software programmes such as Sage, Xero and Quickbooks

  • Maintain electronic workbooks, IRIS practice management and follow other departmental procedures.

  • Review junior staff work, as required and assist with their development.

  • Work within the Assurance Team, assisting the development of the team and the members within it.

  • Working to promote the Firm and convert new clients.

About you:

  • Ideally, you'll be ACCA or ACA qualified (or working towards this), alongside having a few years' experience within an Accounts role. However, if you're newly qualified, or qualified by an abundance of experience, you're still most welcome to apply.

  • Your own transport will be necessary, due to the location.

  • Strong team work ethic, friendly, and a good sense of humour goes a long way!

  • Flexible approach to work, and supporting other team members.

If you think this sounds like a great opportunity for you, or perhaps you just want to chat about your circumstances confidentially in the first instance, please apply!

Your details will not be sent onto any third party until we have discussed suitability, and received your authorisation to do so.
