​Do you have a current portable enhanced DBS and experience having worked in a reception or admin role? I would love to hear from you.

I am working with a school near Truro who are looking for an administrator to join them for an immediate start until the end of the school term - December 19th.

This role will be working Monday to Friday 08.00-16.00 with a 30 min lunch break.

Due to this role being immediate start you will need to be living in or near Truro and have a portable DBS already in place.

Your DBS - would have been registered on the governments update service, and is portable allowing you to work for different companies.

This position is paying £11.00- £11.50 an hour depending on experience.


  • Providing reception cover, manning the phones, taking messages, transferring calls.

  • Updating staff on students sickness/ late attendance

  • General admin duties - photocopying/ scanning

  • Adhoc duties - Writing letters/ emails, compiling documents for management


  • Minimum of a couple of years in an admin/ reception role

  • Be a competent user of Microsoft office, including outlook

  • Good written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for details and accuracy.

  • Enhanced DBS - Portable
