​We are currently seeking a Temporary Cable Harness Assembler on a 4 day week!

In this role, you will be responsible for assembling cable harnesses according to specifications and quality standards.

Working days:Monday - Thursday, 39hrs per week

EITHER 0630-1645 OR 0730-1745.

Your duties will include:

  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, diagrams, and work instructions to assemble cable harnesses.

  • Cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering wires as necessary.

  • Routing and securing wires within harness assemblies using cable ties, sleeves, and other fastening methods.

  • Installing connectors, terminals, and other electrical components onto wires and cables.

  • Performing visual inspections and electrical tests to ensure the quality and functionality of assembled harnesses.

  • Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in cable harness assembly or a related field is preferred but not required.

  • Basic knowledge of electrical components and wiring techniques.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.

This is a temporary position with the potential for extension based on business needs and performance.
