​​​​We are looking for a confident and personable Administrator with experience in Events and Marketing to join a busy team in Truro, this is being offered as a Permanent role, paying £22,717 rising to £23,460 from the 1st August.

This role is to start immediately, so if you are needing to relocate or have a long notice period this role would not be suitable. This role is based in Truro with free parking onsite. Occasional travel to their other two sites in Cornwall might be needed to cover events or attend training.

​The role is being offered Monday - Friday 08.30-17.00 and is based fully on site, no Hybrid working can be offered.

​Role:

As part of a small operational team, you will be responsible for promoting the available meeting and conference rooms, responding to queries and booking customers in using bespoke software.

Working alongside the receptionist and center administrator to provide occasional lunch cover to ensure a consistent visitor experience for guests.

* Booking meeting rooms

* Organising catering with onsite cafe

* Organising staff cover

* Printing of documents/ marking materials

* Ensuring room layouts are to the clients specification,

* Answering phone and email queries

​Skills

* Minimum of a couple of years in a similar events/administration role

* Great customer service

* Be a competent user of Microsoft office, including outlook

* Good written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for details and accuracy.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Problem - solving with the ability to multitask
