Seeking an experienced finance administrator to manage and maintain the finance function of a well-established and busy business in the Redruth area.
The primary purpose of this role is to administer the finance function in a number of areas including, but not limited to: reviewing and overseeing financial transactions; reconciliation of bank and accounts; journal entries and analysis for monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts; carrying out reporting, financial analysis and administrative tasks.
Ensuring the financial transactions are made in a correct, timely and controlled fashion.
Petty cash/credit card management
Managing accounts payable, invoices statements and supplier queries
Handling accounts receivable, customer invoices & queries, payment reconciliation
Month end stock control and ledger accounts
Journal entries into the general ledger
Produce monthly management accounts.
Produce monthly sales reports.
Analysis of monthly management accounts to previous year
Complete relevant tax returns
Produce statutory accounts and liaise with Auditors.
Other reporting and analysis as required for relevant departments.
Maintain policies and practices to comply with appropriate regulatory obligations.
Responsible for utility contracts for main site
Continually strive to seek improvements in all areas.
Any other duties that your manager deems appropriate/ necessary.
