​Seeking an experienced finance administrator to manage and maintain the finance function of a well-established and busy business in the Redruth area.

The primary purpose of this role is to administer the finance function in a number of areas including, but not limited to: reviewing and overseeing financial transactions; reconciliation of bank and accounts; journal entries and analysis for monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts; carrying out reporting, financial analysis and administrative tasks.


  • Ensuring the financial transactions are made in a correct, timely and controlled fashion.

  • Credit control

  • Petty cash/credit card management

  • Managing accounts payable, invoices statements and supplier queries

  • Handling accounts receivable, customer invoices & queries, payment reconciliation

  • Month end stock control and ledger accounts

  • Banking

  • Complete VAT

  • Journal entries into the general ledger

  • Produce monthly management accounts.

  • Produce monthly sales reports.

  • Analysis of monthly management accounts to previous year

  • Complete relevant tax returns

  • Payroll

  • Produce statutory accounts and liaise with Auditors.

  • Other reporting and analysis as required for relevant departments.

  • Maintain policies and practices to comply with appropriate regulatory obligations.

  • Responsible for utility contracts for main site

  • Continually strive to seek improvements in all areas.

  • Any other duties that your manager deems appropriate/ necessary.
