Are you a skilled forecourt / petrol station manager with experience in retail stores? My client is seeking a experienced Forecourt Store Manager for one of their stores in the West Devon area close the the Cornish boarder. You need to be a great leader who can inspire and motivate a team, and at the same time maximize retail sales and achieve budgeted profit target.

You will need to be passionate about retail and have high store standards with a great eye for detail. You will also be great at people management as you will have a large team to coach and develop.

This is a full time permanent role paying £27,000 - £29,000 doe.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities Include

  • Know the numbers and drive a commercial action plan.

  • Manage the duty forecourt rota to drive productivity.

  • Set high standards and expectations with the team, coach them on what great standards look like.

  • Ensure all ready to trade checklists are completed regarding petrol retail trading.

  • Plan all events and promotions so they are launched accurately and on time.

  • Coach and develop the team with technical and behavioural skills.

About You

  • A “can do” attitude with a sense of urgency.

  • At least 3 years in a similar role.

  • Skilled planner and organiser, proactive and flexible.

  • Skilled delegator with the ability to find and develop talent.

  • Build a great working relationship across peer groups.

  • Influence others with a positive approach to overcoming barriers.

  • Communicate confidently and effectively through a variety of methods.

  • Naturally enthusiastic and energetic with the ability to deliver effective solution.
