We are seeking a Counterbalance/Flexi Forklift Operator offering an immediate start.
The ideal candidate will come from a proven warehouse and distribution background, have a great work ethic and be keen to get stuck in. The suitable applicant must be well organised and efficient as well as a great team player. Additionally, applicants must be comfortable with manual handling with good attention to detail. Familiarity with Computers, goods in, stock checking and warehouse organisation & safety will also be essential.
You will need previous forklift experience as well as the ability to work alongside a team to meet time restraints. Previous leadership/team leader experience would be beneficial.
The working hours will be Monday – Friday, 7.45am - 3.45pm OR 3.45pm-midnight OR 12:00am (midnight) - 08:00am
Counterbalance experience and current ticket essential.
The addition of a Flexi ticket would be preferred, however, there will be training offered to those without this.
The ideal candidate will:
Have a clear understanding of warehouse operations, specifically a fast-moving operation involving pallet and case picking/dispatching.
Be able to manage receipts from the Plant and Suppliers and.
Be comfortable unloading 40ft trailers.
Prioritise customer orders and organize to be picked and prepare for dispatch.
Manage and rationalise bulk rack storage space.
Conduct stocktakes.
Role specifics:
Picking National Orders.
Organizing picking team for picking national customer orders.
Support unloading/loading trailers.
Replenishment stock.
Complete customer dispatch checks.
Maintain a good flow of product through the facility.
Full training provided in the following:
System operations and SAP.
Flexi-truck licence.
