We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Senior IT Technician to join a growing support team. The successful candidate will be part of an expanding business, ensuring seamless IT experiences and effective problem resolution.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in the following:

  • Desktop & Server operating systems

  • Active Directory

  • RemoteAPP/ Terminal Services

  • MPLS/ PWAN

  • Working with Network infrastructure and equipment, including but not limited to Firewalls including TCP/ IP, WiFi

  • Virtualization technologies

  • Microsoft 365 Services including Entra & Intune

  • VOIP telephony

  • Installation & configuration of CCTV systems

  • Backup & Disaster Recovery

Responsibilities

  • Carry out the planned installation & testing of new hardware and software.

  • Provide support to our first line team resolving escalated issues in a timely & effective manner.

  • Proactive maintenance of networking & server estate

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve network, software and hardware faults.

  • Perform proactive routine maintenance and upgrades to our core infrastructure and server estate.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records using our help desk system.

  • Contribute to the knowledge base for common issues to assist in faster resolution.

  • Provide support and manage the upgrades of various systems/ software across the group.

  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested.

Experience in the following would be advantageous:

  • Web Coding (Including but not limited to HTML, CSS, XML, PHP, API)

  • SQL/ MySQL

  • UniFi

  • Linux

  • Crystal Reports

  • Monitoring/ Diagnostics Systems

A self-starting problem solver with a positive attitude is key in this role.

Some travel between sites within our group will on occasion be required, therefore, a full and clean driving license is essential.
