​An exciting opportunity for an experienced Property Manager has become available for a well-established and reputable firm in central Truro.

My client is a seeking a self-motivated and intelligent candidate to work alongside an existing team to provide knowledgeable, friendly and efficient customer service to a wide portfolio of clients.

 

Responsibilities will include:

 

• Assisting with the Management of a portfolio of residential properties.

• Delivery of superior customer service at all times.

• Ensuring that properties are complying with current legislation.

• Ensuring high levels of communication at all times with all parties.

• Represent the best interest of the shareholders or members of the management company, to carry out instructions and manage diligently the property and estate.

• Act at all times in accordance with the principles and procedures Required by ARMA Q accreditation.

• First point of contact, at all times, for all lessees and occupiers in respect of all maintenance matters and to ensure that these are promptly dealt with, along with dealing with out of hours calls where needed.

• To undertake regular inspections of the property and monitor its condition.

• To advise on statutory requirements and make recommendations to ensure compliance with government legislation

• To prepare, and enforce if required, rules and regulations for the management of the property.

• Anticipates, responds to and seeks to exceed the expectations of existing and potential customers.

 

Skills and Experience:

 

• Able to show support for business values, demonstrate and promote a high level of honesty and integrity.

• Able to work in a well-structured manner with strong organisational skills.

• Able to work to set deadlines, accurately and with an attention to detail.

• Ability to build and maintain good working relationships, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Good level of literacy, numeracy and general computing skills.

• Good communication skills and problem-solving is essential for success in this role.

• Previous property management experience is desirable; however, training will be provided

 

This role is being offered on a full-time permanent basis. The role is largely office based, Monday to Friday but hybrid working is also available on agreement.
