Are you a sales and marketing executive with retail or market experience? My client, one of the largest indoor markets in the UK, is seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Executive to grow their business in both footfall numbers and trade pitch rentals. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the marketing plan whilst driving sales and filling vacant units. You will need at least 2 years experience in a similar sales / marketing role.

This is a full time permanent hybrid role paying £30,000 doe + commission. It will initially be a 6 month fixed term contract working 5 out of 7 days (including at least 1 weekend day) with the intention of moving to a full time role for the right candidate.

Key Duties

  • Cold calling cold and warm leads to generate new business whether in person or over the phone.

  • 80% focus on new business, 20% focus on growing existing accounts.

  • Plan your diary, working remotely 1 to 2 days a week to book in meetings, and create leads.

  • 2 or 3 days spent at the market on the key trading days Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.

  • Working with the team on marketing ideas from concept to implementation across all media, from online and social media to hard print and radio.

  • Travelling to existing and potential clients across the county and beyond.

  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions and networking events.

  • Develop relationships with current and new customers, from Head office level, to branches and independent businesses.

About You

  • Degree in Business/Sales/Marketing is preferred but not required.

  • At least 2 years' experience in B2B sales and lead generation.

  • Experience with marketing regarding social media, radio and onsite marketing is also required.

  • Previous lead generation experience will be useful.
