My client is a well-established Cornish brand within the FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) sector, offering a great chance to join their technical team on a 32-hour working week.

What are they looking for?

  • A customer-focused driven individual, with great administration skills.

  • Previous experience within the FMCG/ manufacturing industry.

  • A good understanding of food safety standards (BRCGS would be even better!).

  • Proficient with MS systems, to include Excel.

  • Previous experience working in a technical role/department, with the ability to accurately handle technical information.

What will you be doing?

  • Responding to customer requests in an accurate and professional manner, from answering individual customer queries to completing technical information for larger food manufacturing and retail clients

  • Specification management – manage internal and customer facing product specifications, including generating new specifications and updating existing specifications as required.

  • Documentation management, handling customer complaints and record keeping.

  • Assistance in audits, and collaborate between various company departments such as production, quality assurance, and management.

  • Continual improvement process: Identify areas for process improvement related to documentation, record-keeping, and administrative tasks.
