We are seeking a Cook for an ever-growing food manufacturer based in Bodmin with an immediate start.

Offering full time day shifts, Monday – Friday (No weekends!)

If you have worked in a food manufacturing setting or within a kitchen, that would be great but there is full on the job training provided for those who haven’t.

Working for a family run confectionary company, the role offers great support and a fun and friendly team environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding business with great career progression within the role.

Rates of pay/ Hours: 0700-1600, Monday – Friday, £9.90 per hour

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Reliable and have a great work ethic

  • Keen to learn new skills receiving full training operating machinery

  • Do well under time constraints and be able to work towards products deadlines.

  • Work well in a team and have a great can-do attitude!

Key duties:

  • Following recipes, mixing and cooking goods.

  • Filling in all relevant food regulation paperwork, making sure to follow all guidelines set out.

  • Some manual handling required, moving tubs containing ingredients and filling machines/cookers.

  • Sticking to strict time deadlines, being conscientious and have good time keeping skills.

  • Some general packing support when needed
