​Are you looking for you next marketing role in the Geothermal Industry? My client, a small but growing team pioneering geothermal power development in the UK, is looking to recruit a highly motivated, permanent, part-time Social Media and Digital Marketing Officer to join their small but growing team, pioneering geothermal power development in the UK. This exciting opportunity has been created to reinforce the success of their existing social media and marketing activity,and support their company expansion.

The successful candidate will perform a variety of duties, working with internal stakeholders to identify, plan and create social media content.

This is a part-time permanent role 22.5 hours per week. The role is paying £23,000 to £25,000 pro-rata (£13,800 - £15,000 actual) subject to experience, plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creation of robust strategies, scheduling and managing social media content to promote and build online awareness of the company.

  • Manage, develop and analyse social media platforms used to promote the company brand visibility and engagement, analyse data and generate meaningful insights from social media metrics.

  • Co-ordinate public relations and press releases with external PR company.

  • Build a strong network of partnership opportunities across the UK and beyond and monitor social media channels for sector trends insights and opportunities.

  • Respond to social media followers, messages, and comments in a professional and timely manner.

  • Work collaboratively with all departments to develop engaging and accurate content for social media, website, and marketing literature.

  • Take good quality photographs/videography at events both in house and externally, and then editing to create meaningful content, whilst adhering to GDPR and Safeguarding guidelines.

  • Assist with the ongoing development of the company website.

  • Create promotional graphics using Canva, InDesign, Adobe, Active Campaign or similar platforms.

  • Attend and contribute to regular staff meetings and briefings to remain fully aware of the company’s activities.

Requirements

  • Creative mindset with great attention to detail.

  • Possesses a deep understanding of social media channels and B2B marketing dynamics.

  • Strong background with proven track record of developing and executing social media strategies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required to attend events.

  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
