​An exciting opportunity for an administrator to join our client, a busy food production company in St Columb.

​This role would suit a candidate that has worked in food production environment previously although this it not essential.

The role is being offered as a 3 month contract as an agency worker, after this period you will transfer onto our clients books and be offered a permanent contract.

Main Duties

  • Maintaining and monitoring quality and food safety standards and associated records

  • Conducting daily, weekly & monthly checks for food safety, quality and health & safety

  • Investigation of non-conformances

  • Filing, storage and archiving of technical documentation

Key Skills

  • Excellent administration and IT skills with a high attention to detail

  • Good team working and communication skills 

  • Proactive and independent working skills with an ability to multi-task

  • Previous food manufacturing experience and knowledge of food safety, HACCP and health & safety would be beneficial, however training will be given to the right candidate      

This is a hybrid role, where 3 days will be spent in the office, and the remaining two days will be working in the factory - where you will be trained up as a QA to monitor the products which an element of some production work as and when needed

Hours are Monday to Friday 07.00-15.00 ( occasional Saturday) they may consider somebody that could do this on a part time basis for the right candidate.
