We are seeking a proactive Traffic Marshall to join our team on a 20-week contract basis to start next week!

As a Traffic Management Operative, you will play a vital role in managing and directing traffic flow within the hospital premises. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles, patients, visitors, and staff within designated areas. This role demands excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety protocols.

Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Pay rate: £11.44 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directing traffic flow to prevent congestion and maintain order.

  • Ensuring compliance with designated parking areas and regulations.

  • Assisting patients, visitors, and staff with parking and directions as needed.

  • Monitoring and reporting any safety hazards or concerns related to traffic management.

  • Collaborating with security personnel and relevant departments to address traffic-related issues promptly.

  • Providing exceptional customer service to all individuals within the hospital premises.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in traffic management or a related field is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-traffic situations.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to safety protocols.

  • Flexibility to work variable shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record will be ideal, although not essential.
